As part of our ministry in Maynooth our Rector and Curate serve as assisting Chaplains in the University of Maynooth working alongside the two full time Roman Catholic Chaplains Shay and Catherine. The Chaplaincy offers advice and support to the students attending the University as well as offering a range of talks and events for students to attend.
Our main focus in the University is to provide a free lunch to the students once a month. This lunch gives students the chance to come together and meet new people, and they provide us with the opportunity to build relationships with the students. While the students enjoy the food on offer they are not shy in asking questions on faith issues and on occasions talk through personal issues of their own.
